The Beauty of Company is a social project with the aim to reduce loneliness amongst elderly.
In the summer of 2021 we started this social project by giving (lonely) elderly people a nice day. We do this by means of a so-called 'pampering day', where we come by for an afternoon to pamper them. Their make-up will be professionally done, and their portraits will be taken. At such a moment, the lady in question doesn't have to do anything at all. Nothing but relax.

 

We visit seniors who have difficulty receiving compliments and personal attention, and who therefore have the feeling that they want to wave that attention away.

In addition, the pandemic of the past year-and-a-half has left many seniors feeling cut off from the outside world. We think this is a perfect time to break this terrible time with something positive. 

Even if it's just for a day.
